So...for anyone who cares and didn't know, I've completely disappeared from Deviantart for almost exactly nine months because I had my baby.  He's awesome and adoreable, but posting pictures online still kind of creeps me out, so NO PICS FOR YOU.  Soon I'll post old ones or something, I dunno.  Anyway, the point is that I'm (mostly) back now, and if things keep going well I might even be able to start drawing some stuff again for here.  It's amazing how similar an infant is to a brain slug.  Except louder.

Okay, time to tell the internet, there's gonna be a little rool jr. this coming June.  Felt odd a little over a month ago, and surprise!  This is week 13.(I'm making fingerprints!)  Don't know girl or boy yet, but this is doomed to be the strangest child ever born.  I'm listening to christmas songs and crying or getting angry in turns, and Dairy Queen is making their bucks off of cheese curds and rootbeer floats.  So happy, crazy times.

...then I need a better agent.  Got tired of having a comment meme with no comments, and I've decided to make an art.  Have you ever noticed the amount of green-skinned characters?  Of course not, 'cause nobody's reading this.  So I'm making a green-skinned art of awesomeness, and figuring out which characters to include.(keep in mind, this is only the guys so far.

Alright, so there it is...

...so I just realized that my first five characters in my fanfic echo The Wizard of Oz.  I did NOT mean to do this!

Diana-Glinda
Lex-Lion on 'wants', Scarecrow on personality
Joe-Tin man
KaiYoni-Scarecrow on 'wants', Toto on personality
You could even argue Titania's role as that of Oz, and Demona as the Wicked Witch!  Does that make the clan munchkins?  Now I'm seeing all these little yellow gargoyles with spears running around.

Twillo as Dorothy: a girl ripped from her family who loves the world she's found herself in, but ultimately wants to go home to the ones who love her.

Diana as Glinda: (I actually refer to her as 'Glinda' in one later segment of my story!)  The more knowledgable good witch who befriends Dorothy and helps her on her journey.

Lex as Lion/Scarecrow: The first permanent companion Dorothy meets, he's intelligent and helpful while selling himself short.  He feels that he's not as effective a warrior as the rest of the clan, which is why I peg him as wanting his 'courage'.  Eventually he finds out that what he needs isn't to find courage, but to embrace using his brain.  (I also ship Dorothy/Scarecrow, in everything except the original books where Dorothy is eternally like 7 years old.)

Joe as Tin Man: The stereotypical 'non-human' argument, as Joe is actually an android.  He's with the group because he's looking for the purpose of aspiring to his newly optional humanity(his 'heart').

KaiYoni as Lion/Scarecrow/Toto: He's literally a wolf-man!  He thinks he needs intelligence(a 'brain') to function in the modern world.  I call him my happy-puppy-boy, and he's only ever fierce in defense of his 'pack', as Toto is only ever fierce in defense of Dorothy(Gulch had it comin'!)  Eventually KaiYoni will realize that his new family will accept him if he will just 'find the courage' to be himself.

This is SO not fair!  My brain undermines me through my subconscious!
